Thinking Gallery - Bespoke bronze and brass sculptures

Thinking Gallery

Where artistry meets intention—crafted with thought, shaped by imagination.

Art transforms an idea into something tangible, something personal. At Thinking Gallery, every creation is a one-of-a-kind expression of form and thought—whether a vessel, a keepsake, or a concept brought to life. Each commission is shaped with care, ensuring that no two pieces are alike.

Specializing in bespoke vessels, artistic trinkets, and conceptual gifts, I blend time-honored sculptural methods with contemporary fabrication. From non-ferrous metals like brass, bronze, and aluminum to carefully sourced materials, each design is crafted with intention and purpose.

Beyond physical objects, Thinking Gallery offers artistic consultation, helping transform abstract visions into reality. Whether you seek a singular gift, a personal artifact, or a design that speaks to your imagination, each order is a custom experience—crafted with thought, care, and creativity.

From Thought to Form: The Commission Experience

Commissioning a sculpture is one of the most personal artistic experiences available. It is an invitation to collaborate—to take an abstract thought, a memory, or a feeling and cast it into something permanent. This is a custom price. I can offer solutions for most budgets. Call and we can talk.

1. The Spark
Every piece begins with a conversation. Whether you have a fully formed concept or just a sentiment you wish to capture, we explore the narrative together. We discuss scale, materials, and intent to ensure the vision aligns with the space it will inhabit.

2. The Alchemy
Once the design is established, the studio work begins. Through casting, welding, and fabrication, raw metals—bronze, brass, aluminum—are transformed. This is a process of fire and force, shaping a unique object that bears the mark of the artist's hand.

3. The Artifact
The result is more than a decoration; it is a vessel of meaning. Finished with custom patinas and sealed for longevity, your sculpture is delivered as a singular work of art, built to stand the test of time.

Werk

Werk - Sculpture from 2005

2005

The work was done in 2005. Its title "Werk" is meant to be a very first piece in a lineage of wonder. As time passes, additional pieces are to be added. This celebrates and shames our Industrial Revolution, and also how is integrates into the Line of succession.

The Uninviting

2004

Crafted in copper and silver, this piece explores the psychological friction between the primal drive to eat and the inability to consume. The vessel presents itself as a tool for sustenance, yet its uninviting and weathered form creates an immediate barrier to comfort. It stands as a meditation on the conflict between wanting to be nourished and being repelled by the means available.
